Fleece for Fighters

What is it?

Fleece for Fighters is a community service projects started by the 2015 COTSA State Officer Team to create fleece-tie blankets for seriously ill/injured children. Blankets are donated to the Children's Hospital.

How can I help?

  1. Make fleece-tie blankets for your COTSA chapter. View instructions here.

  2. Chapter representatives submit their blankets to Conference HQ at the State Conference.

  3. The chapter with the most blankets is recognized during the awards ceremony.

Tabs for Tots

What is it?

Join us in donating pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House to help sick children and their families.

How can I help?

  1. Collect pop tabs for your COTSA chapter.

  2. Chapter representatives submit their tabs to Conference HQ at the State Conference.

  3. The chapter with the most pop tabs is recognized during the awards ceremony.

Chapter-Led State Conference Workshops

Colorado Technology Student Association (Colorado TSA) invites affiliated Colorado TSA chapters to submit proposals to present workshops at the 2027 Colorado TSA State Conference.

The purpose of this RFP is to identify chapters prepared to deliver engaging, educational sessions while providing students and advisors with meaningful leadership, communication, project-management, and technical experiences.

Colorado TSA reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, request additional information, negotiate the proposed workshop scope, or cancel this RFP at any time.

To help schools participate in financial leadership activities as a part of their Program of Work, Colorado TSA is seeking proposals for State Conference Workshops.

Request for Proposal Released - August 12, 2026

Proposal Submission Deadline - November 15, 2026

Selection Notification - November 25, 2026

Final Deliverable Due - February 26, 2027

LEGO Design Challenge

Put your creativity, teamwork, and quick thinking to the test in this fast-paced LEGO design challenge! Teams of three will receive a surprise prompt and an equal amount of building materials before racing through planning, construction, and revision. Finished creations will be evaluated by conference exhibitors based on creativity, communication, resourcefulness, and execution. No previous LEGO-building experience is required—just a willingness to experiment, collaborate, and create something unexpected.

District Representatives Meeting

District representatives will have an opportunity to connect about the work they have been doing throughout the year in-person at the State Conference! During this time they will reflect on their successes and challenges so far, meet one another in-person, and set goals for the future in this State Officer led activity.

Advisor Workshops

LEGO Design Challenge

Take a break and spend an hour building, laughing, and competing alongside fellow educators! Teams of two to three will receive a randomized surprise challenge and an equal amount of LEGO building materials. Student facilitators will guide the experience, and student judges will evaluate the finished creations. Participate in creative problem-solving, friendly competition, and an opportunity to build something delightfully unexpected.
