The 2020 Summer High School Cybersecurity Internship Program is NOW open to all high school students and applications will be accepted through April 17, 2020.
ALL high school students who are interested in the rapidly growing cybersecurity industry are encouraged to apply. During this 60-hour internship program, students will work with local reputable cybersecurity organizations to gain an inside perspective of the field and to develop in-demand professional skills.
Students that successfully complete the internship will be eligible for up to a $500 completion scholarship.
Timeline:
April 17, 2020 -- Student applications due
April 23, 2020 -- Students selected for interviews are notified
April 30, 2020 -- Interview Day (must be present)
May 2020 -- Selected interns complete Professionalism 101
June 2020 -- Internship begins
Interested students MUST register and activate a student account on the MARKETPLACE at www.PPBEA.org. Then complete the following tasks inside the student profile:
Invite a school-based sponsor
Link a parent account
Assist parents with registering & activating their account (if needed)
Parents must navigate to their user profile to acknowledge the following documents for their student:
Work-based Learning Agreement
Media Release Form
Complete the student expanded profile by entering coursework and experiences that are relative to this application
